Traditional Crafting
We use a blend of traditional and modern techniques to bring you quality items. we have done sculptures, everyday items for home or shop, historical reproductions for the City of St. Augustine, the Castillo and the St. Augustine Lighthouse.
Blacksmithing and Welding Instruction
Small class sizes guarantee quality instruction and individual attention. We start with a strong focus on safety and good hammer technique (both for moving metal and to minimize the risk of injury to joints, tendons and nerves. We discuss the history, the science, the use of solid fuel and propane and show how to use 7-8 of the most common techniques used by blacksmiths.
Welding Classes
Our Introduction to Welding classes are a great for someone looking to buy a MIG welder but who is unsure of what type of welder they need or what a particular machine can do. Our certified welder will share experience and advice. Or if you already own a welder, come in for some guided practice and tips on achieving better results. If you are looking for instruction for stick or TIG welding, or structural projects, call and we can refer you.
